Descent to the Underworld: A Shadow Work Community Group
3 Rays of Light & Awen Grove Fellowship

4:00 pm – 6:00 pm: “Descent to the Underworld: A Shadow Work Community Group”

Our group focus for January 2023 is an introduction to shadow work, how to get started, why you should do it, when you should NOT do it, and answering your questions about this type of inner work. If you’ve heard of the term, or have wanted to learn more about shadow work, please feel free to join us!

This interfaith healing group’s goal is to provide a safe and sacred space where we will descend together into the underworld and explore the shadows we encounter along the way. Our facilitators are trained and experienced in a variety of practical and experiential methods and modalities to guide you to a deeper awareness of who you are at your most authentic core level, how to face your shadows and how to decide whether to integrate, release or accept the shadows you find along the way.

This group’s intention is to provide

  • – An open, accepting and sacred space for authentic discussion.
  • – Resources to assist you to delve deeper than surface level into your shadow.
  • – Guidance and encouragement as we descend into the underworld together.
  • – Opportunity to learn and use healing modalities and tools such as EFT (tapping), meditation, intuition, archetypal studies, spiritual art techniques, journaling, dreamwork, oracle/tarot readings & ritual.
  • – Introduction to energies to support your process including Ascended Masters, Angels & Gods & Goddesses of the Underworld such as Persephone.

Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Women of Faith is to promote interfaith/intercultural understanding and to build goodwill.  While matters of faith and a desire for spiritual growth are what draw us together, it is not necessary to be a practicing member of a specific religious group or tradition to be a participant or become a member of Women of Faith.  We value a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives and the opportunity to learn from one another in a spirit of openness, sensitivity, respect, trust, friendship, and support.
