Nov 5 Dinner Meetup – Same Program Different Location!

In these unsettling days of conflict around the world many of us wonder what Muslims here in the Midlands believe and what they do – what are their worship services like, what are the values that guide their lives, what are their customs, holidays, practices?  Two longtime members of Interfaith Partners will share with us at the Oct 1 meetup about their own Muslim practice. Imam Omar Shaheed of Masjid As-Salaam is the former vice- chair of the IPSC board, and Tayyaba Sadiq, software development professional, mother, and a member of local Muslim community and connected with several area masjids (mosques). This is our opportunity to hear about day-to-day life in Islam, what are the “scary words,” and to ask the questions you really want to ask our presenters. New location: British Bulldog Pub in Harbison, 1220 Bower Parkway, Columbia, Tuesday Nov 5 at 6-8PM
