Holy City History Interfaith Gathering
Kick off Charleston’s 350th Anniversary with a History of Faith in Our Holy City event. The City is very excited about this event! We are working with the city to bring faith communities to set up booths detailing their roots in Charleston and highlighting their current work and events. We will have a historian, Damon Fordham, offer an overview of the Holy City’s religious communities, possibly create a panel discussion, and offer Okra soup and corn bread. Fire Communion Service at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia

In a ceremony of the burning bowl, people are invited to write down write down words, or a phrase, to sum up what they wish to release before entering the new year. Midlands Interfaith Meetup

Join old friends and meet new ones at this informal gathering of people of any faith tradition which takes place on the first Tuesday of each month in a private room at the British Bulldog Pub in the Harbison area. Midlands Interfaith Meetup is a welcoming space where attendees get to break bread and share fabulous conversations on faith, and society. Our topic this month is “My Interfaith Heroes; past and/or present individuals who inspire me to reach out to meet and engage people from faith traditions other than mine.” British Bulldog Pub is located at 1220 Bower Parkway, Columbia, SC 29212.
