May 2: Standing Together: Becoming Other-Wise

• An event from our friends at Justice for All – South Carolina •

Standing Together: Becoming Other-Wise

When: Tuesday, May 2
6:30pm– 8:30pm

Where: Beth Shalom Synagogue
5827 N. Trenholm Rd • Columbia, SC

What: An opportunity to build relationships and explore what being considered “other” in a society of “us” and “them” really means. We will also discuss practical ways to respond to this experience.

Because our program will include a presentation and an opportunity to connect our own stories with the stories of others. This format will allow us to explore not only what we know and experience, but connect with the experiences of others!

Justice for All – South Carolina is a grassroots movement begun by faith leaders to stand for the dignity of all persons in South Carolina. We are from many religions, all walks of life, and enjoy a diversity of political beliefs.
